Our first encounter with Roger Carrillo was when he came to our home, at our request, to give us a market analysis.  Although we determined that it was not the time to list our home, he made such a good impression with his promptness, courtesy, and genuine interest in helping us that when we needed help with the listing and sale of our parents’ home, he was the first and only realtor that came to mind.  It had been a rental property and the property manager (not Roger) quoted us a price way below what we thought it was worth, seemingly to sell it quickly.  We decided to call Roger.  He met us, listened to our ideas and desires, and the rest is history.  He got us the price we wanted and it sold the first week.  Amazing!  He treated us as if we were his only clients.  He is always very responsive, proactive, and thus gets the desired results.  Roger inspires confidence.   

Subsequently, when we decided to sell our commercial building, he referred us to a realtor who successfully sold it quickly and we got our desired price.  Roger monitored the process and acted as our advocate, making sure we were treated right and fairly.

We were fortunate to have Roger as our Realtor. When we told him what we had in mind, he immediately began scouting the community and learning the advantages and disadvantages of various sites.

After we toured a neighborhood and found a home that met our dreams, he quickly worked with the listing agent to arrange a tour and answer questions.

He referred us to a lending source that treated us like we knew what we were doing and made that process flow smoothly.

He kept us up to date on inspections, paperwork requirements and general progress of the purchase. He was always available by phone or e-mail.

Finding out that we would soon need to relocate to the Los Angeles area for a new job we found it particularly challenging to find a house to buy without any personal knowledge of the area or the housing market.  Initially we attempted to research on line through the various web sites like Realtor.com, ZIllow.com and others.  This search gave us large numbers of results for homes that didn't seem to match what we wanted or needed.  After considering the situation it seemed we should focus our search to new homes which became problematic as there was nothing very helpful on line that could give us a full or a comprehensive look at new homes only.
 
Luckily for us we were referred to Roger just as we were getting frustrated.  He was extremely professional.  With his knowledge on the new home market as well as existing homes he was able to give us the overview we needed.  He was familiar with the locations, stages of completion, pricing, quality and reputation of the builders.  After giving him specifics on the kind commute requirements, floor plan preferences, and  price ranges we had  he came up with a list of new homes for us to look at.  Since we  had only limited time to travel and explore it was particularly important to screen as much in advance as possible and Roger took a great deal of time in answering our questions, finding and seeding us information on each house, community, and details that would help us.  Then on arriving in LA to look at the homes he was our main asset in getting around, showing us the area, educating us on the history, market, and so many other aspects of learning a new place.  
 
As a result we found a home that fit every criteria we had given Roger and that suit us perfectly.  When we went in to negotiate with the builder Roger was there to help us along the way and gave us tips that helped in dealing with new home construction.  We did buy a new home and were happy but were not able to make the move from Texas for about a month after the close.  Roger stayed on the job for us the whole time by helping us find contractors to do extra work ( blinds, electrical, etc. ) we wanted and he worked with the builder to see that the yard was cared for and even did the walk through inspection for us ( which would have cost us an extra trip back to LA which we didn't have time for ). 
 
To sum up Roger worked on our behalf well beyond anything we could have asked for or expected.  We would highly recommend Roger to any new or existing home buyer in the Los Angeles area.
